On July 8, 2026, Wangchhu Hydroelectric Power Limited (WHPL) warmly welcomed 11 new team members with a simple cake-cutting ceremony to mark the start of their journey with us.
During the welcome session, our Chief Executive Officer briefed the new cohort on current operations, key priorities for the year, and the overall project implementation schedule. He highlighted that these professionals were selected through the Druk Green Power Corporation Limited (DGPC) internal recruitment process – meaning they bring invaluable institutional knowledge and experience to hit the ground running.
With this addition, the WHPL family grows to 43 employees strong, all working hard to deliver the 570 MW Wangchhu Hydroelectric Project.
